ISLAMABAD – Turkey and China has announced that their army will participate in Pakistan Day Military Parade on 23rd March in Islamabad.

This is the first time that any foreign military group is participating in Pakistan Day parade. DG ISPR Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor also confirmed that participation of Chinese and Turkish army in parade via a tweet on his official twitter account today on Monday.


Military parade will be held at the Parade Ground in Islamabad. All three services, Pakistan Army, Navy and Air Force will participate. Pakistan observes a military parade to celebrate Pakistan day every year on the 23rd of March.

The parade had pause of few years after the country hit by terrorism after the 9/11 incident in America and Afghan War.
