LAHORE – Bano Qudsia the legendry writer has passed away at the age of 88 in Lahore after long illness on Saturday. She was born in 1928. Bano Qudsia was the widow of great writer Ashfaq Ahmed.

She was the writer of famous novel Raja Gidh. Bano Qudsia was a writer, play writer. She wrote many dramas for television and stage. She had a good command on Urdu and Punjabi writing.

People of all part of life showing great grief over the death of Bano Qudsia. She was also known as Bano Appa.
