PEMRA bans Amir Liaquat, Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) has impose ban on Dr. Amir Liaquat and his program ‘Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga’ over hate speech allegations. Religious scholar turned TV host Dr. Amir Liaquat joined BOL TV network few months ago and started hosting a program named ‘Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga’.

He has been told that the ban is on immediate effect. Dr. Amir Liaquat is a controversial personality over the years. He had been under heavy criticism over different issues time to time. From his academic degrees to distributing babies Dr. Amir faced many harsh words and criticism.

PEMRA took this action after Dr. Amir conducted a program over five missing activists. PEMRA told about the ban in its official twitter account also.

BOL TV itself has a controversial past over fake degree scandals. It was also banned by the authorities after a foreign newspaper break the story about fake degrees.
